Allison Ferns

 

Allison Ferns is a presenter on BBC Radio Sussex, BBC Radio Surrey and BBC Radio Kent as well as a TV reporter on BBC South East Today. 

She is an award-winning broadcaster with a career that has included commercial and public service radio, TV, magazines, stage and screen. She was a Butlins Red Coat, was part of a girl band at the end of Eastbourne Pier and even interned at Number 10 Downing Street. She's been recognised by the radio industry winning a raft of awards including numerous ARIA and Gillard Awards.

Allison started performing at a young age under the direction of Jacqueline Storey before training at The Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and as a child appeared in many Brighton panto’s.
