Bonnie started dancing at the age of four at the ‘Jaqueline Storey Theatre School’. She continued classes at ‘Doris Issacs School of Dancing’ in Shoreham and later went on to attend the ‘Jean Butterworth School of Dancing’, Worthing.

At sixteen, Bonnie gained a scholarship at ‘Bird College’ and graduated with a Diploma in Dance and Musical Theatre.

After graduating, Bonnie successfully auditioned for and performed with Carnival Cruise Lines from 2009, until March 2020.

Bonnie enjoyed performing over 20 different shows, with multiple casts and musical genres. Singing, dancing solos, pas de deux and even aerial work. Along with performing, travelling has been a highlight, enjoying ports all over the USA, Caribbean and Pacific to Hawaii.

Why I enjoyed the festival:

I performed at Brighton Festival from the age of four, dancing my first ever solo ‘Tweetie Pie’. I competed every year until I went away to college at 16. Brighton Festival was a highlight of every year for me, and where I gained the confidence and a love for performing which later turned into the best, most rewarding career I could have wished for.

Some of my favourite childhood memories are at Brighton Dance Festival at Roedean School, spending Easter holidays with friends, and doing what we loved best.
