Jennie Dale

 

Jennie trained at Laine Theatre Arts.

Jennie is best known for playing ‘Captain Captain’ in the Bafta award winning Cbeebies TV series Swashbuckle, and for presenting her own show ‘Jennie’s fitness in 5’ for CBeebies and CBBC. She was also ‘The Moon’ in Twas The Night Before Christmas, ‘Nurse’ in Romeo and Juliet, ‘Jiffy’ in Christmas in Storyland, ‘The Witch’ in Hansel and Gretel, ‘Mrs Fitzwarren’ in Dick Whittington And His Cat and ‘The Sheriff Of Nottingham’ in Robin Hood, Many of these productions were shown in cinemas across the UK. Recently Jennie has played ‘Audrey’ in As You Like it and ‘Maria’ in Twelfth night at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre in conjunction with Cbeebies.

Jennie‘s other television credits include Alana Huxley in Doctors, Leanne in the Tracey Ullman show, Rose Lancaster in Midsummer murders and ‘Freda’ - Lets Do It! in Midlife Christmas performing with Victoria Wood.

In addition to her work on television, Jennie is also an established Musical Theatre performer and is a What’s On Stage Awards nominated actor. Jennie is also a Teacher, Choreographer and Vocal Coach and has created award winning groups and solos for All England Dance competitions.
