Sarah started dancing at the age of 8 at Adele Academy of Dancing in Hove East Sussex, in 1995. She then went on to London Studio Centre where she gained a 2.1 honours degree in Theatre Dance, during which time she performed in the musical Chess at the Royal Albert Hall, directed by Tim Rice.

After qualifying, Sarah performed alongside the drummers of The Who, Queen and Pink Floyd at Goodwood Festival of Speed.

Sarah performed as a dancer for Qdos for many years on Celebrity Cruise Ships and their Pantomimes in Edinburgh, Hull and Bradford.

She toured China for 3 months in Dancing Queen for Spirit in 2013/14.

In 2012 Sarah performed in the Stuttgart gala and Palazzo, Saarbruken, Germany.

She performed as a dancer in a show for Mont Blanc in Beijing in 2012, which she absolutely loved.

Sarah was a dancer on Dance Star Asia in Singapore in 2010, and on Big Brother Launch at Elstree studios in 2010.

Sarah is now 34. She married Scott Kirkwood in 2018 and, at the end of 2019 qualified as a PT, just before she became pregnant with their first baby, born in lockdown in August 2020.

Sarah is now doing as much PT via zoom or in person as she can with a nearly 1 year old, and is again taking up her hospitality roles which she used to do along side her dancing career, as much as lock down allows her to start doing at this time.

Why I enjoyed the festival:

I absolutely loved performing on stage as part of a group, a mini group, trio, duet and of course very much loved doing my solo dances. I look back with fond memories of those wonderful Festival, performing days.

They truly were amazing times that I will never forget.
