Allison Ferns
Allison Ferns is an award winning broadcaster whose career has seen her work across a range of media – including commercial and public service radio, TV, magazines, stage and screen. She even interned at Number 10 Downing Street, performed in a girl band, repped as a a famous Butlins Red Coat and appeared as a chorus girl at the end of Eastbourne Pier. She’s been recognised by the radio industry with a raft of awards including two prestigious Sony Awards, an ARIA and a Gillard award – just to name a few.
Allison is now the host of the Allison Ferns Breakfast Show and during her first year, she has written a radio comedy for Red Nose Day, abseiled down the British Airways i360 and interviewed a whole host of showbiz stars.

Why I enjoyed the festival:
I loved the excitement of dancing in the Sussex festival. It taught me important lessons about hard work and dedication but most importantly I made some incredible friendships.
