Jennie is a What’s On Stage Award nominated actress.

In the West End, Jennie has been seen in ELF (Dominion Theatre), THE PAJAMA GAME (Shaftesbury Theatre), MARY POPPINS (Prince Edward Theatre), JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA (Cambridge Theatre), LES MISERABLES (Palace Theatre), THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK (Theatre Royal Drury Lane) and SCROOGE (Dominion Theatre). Her numerous other credits include productions at Chichester Festival Theatre, Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre, Hackney Empire, and Théatre du Châtalet.

On television, Jennie has appeared in VICTORIA WOOD’S WHAT LARKS! and MIDLIFE CHRISTMAS, MIDSOMER MURDERS, THE TRACEY ULLMAN SHOW and DOCTORS.

Jennie is well known for playing ‘Captain Captain’ in Cbeebies Swashbuckle as well as numerous other tv shows for the channel. She now has her own series ‘Jennie’s Fitness In 5’ on CBBC and Cbeebies.

Why I enjoyed the festival:

I got the bug for festivals at a very young age! After my first solo at The Brighton Dome apparently I came of stage and said to my mum ‘I can’t wait for next year’! I remember festival days feeling like it was Christmas morning! Elnett hairspray still reminds me of the dressing room under the stage at The Dome and I will never forget the Freesias that lined the apron of the stage on the award ceremony day.

In my early years I went to Doris Isaacs and then on to Glendale Theatre Arts (where I still guest teach and choreograph for festivals) and then on to Laine Theatre arts.
